The Governor's mansion Raleigh

This last weekend the Executive mansion was open to the public to see the Christmas decorations.

This fine Victorian-style mansion, home to N.C. governors since 1891, once was described by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt as having “the most beautiful governor’s residence interior in America.”

The enormous staircase and there was live music.




The Christmas tree in the men's parlor was decorated with dogwood blossom.
