Washington DC in color

The National Mall is under extreme construction at the moment. So no beautiful reflections in the reflection pool to be seen. Or a great landscape picture of all the lines and angles from the Abraham Licoln memorial towards the Capitol building. But.... the old trees on the Mall were untouched and loved how the snow sticked to their branches.

The Canadian geese were still around too....

The Capitol, just after sunset.

The colors were just magical. Must have been the cold night and the icy water that made it look like this.

  1. Again... black and white or color pictures they are all beautiful. Love the one with the flag against the monument. Awesome!

    1. Thanks Donna! The Washington Memorial was closed, still because of the earthquake they had.
